Meeting Point

Winter (October - April) - We meet in Heanor Conservative Club Car Park. Please park in the car park opposite or on the surrounding streets.

Summer (May - September) - We meet on the event field at Shipley Country Park. Parking in the car park (pay and display charges apply) or around the industrial estate.

ABOUT THE SESSION

We split the group based on the ability and pace of those who attend on any given session.

We alternate out sessions between Out and Backs and Interval Sessions. For example, Tuesday will be Out and Back and Thursday will be Intervals and the following week this will switch round. This is to enable all members to have access to both types of session.

Pace Guidelines

Advance A – Up to 9min/miles

Advance B – 9-10 min/miles

Inters A – 10-11:30 min/miles

Inters B – 11:30-13 min/miles

Beginners – 13 min/miles onwards

​Each group is very friendly and will have at least one LiRF and a Co-Leader who form the front and back runners. Loop backs and re-group points are used and most importantly no-one is left behind.
